Evan grew up in Traverse City, MI, on the shores of Lake Michigan. Spending time outdoors was a big part of his life, whether hiking, camping, or just exploring. These experiences led to a deep appreciation for nature and sparked his interest in creating better gear for outdoor adventures.

    Later, his pursuit of an engineering degree led him to Marquette, MI, a haven for outdoor lovers. Located on the shores of Lake Superior, the world’s largest freshwater lake, Marquette captivated him with its rugged beauty. Here, he would meet his team at Innovate Marquette, who encouraged him to channel his innovative spirit toward the outdoor recreation industry.

    Since then, he has dedicated himself to turning his once-napkin idea for the Trek-Tent into a reality.
